Dr. Arms brings over 20 years of teaching experience and professional expertise to her research and writing in the areas of gender and education, single sex schools, and equity in higher education.

A graduate of UCLA's School of Education, Dr. Arms has pursued a robust research agenda in education policy that has resulted in publications in top-tier, peer reviewed journals such as American Education Research Journal, Teachers College Record, and the international journal Gender and Education.
